Rap Olympus Media

Canadian rap artistJRobertsdrops a well-rounded debut album.North Side, the 8-song project is roughly 23 minutes of prominent pens such as Mickey Factz, Gcasino, Skyzoo, Justo the MC, Showrocka, Lyphe, and Roberts himself. With production and cuts by Blanxx, Tone Spliff, lim0, PHD Beats, and Origin Crates, the cohesive sound gives the audience a look into Robert’s ever-growing talent.

North Sideis by no means an overnight project thrown together for the sake of releasing an album. Every beat is carefully selected, with every feature serving an overall purpose. In its entirety, JRoberts set out to make an album that’ll stand the test of time, and in our honest opinion, he successfully did so.

Tommy Danger Presents the Inspirational “Winning”

Tommy Danger is one of several artists I’ve been introduced to via SubmitHub. His latest, “Winning,” feels like a mix between Big KRIT and Nas. In other words, it’s lyrical storytelling boombap meets lyrically-and-sonically-lush music about growth and introspection. I like this one especially because it’s got a driving drum pattern and mixes mainstream-esque vibes with underground inspirational hip-hop. If this sounds like something you’d give a listen to, check it out below and support dope music in all its forms.

The collective currently consists of 2000+ members, which include artists, producers, graphic designers, videographers, engineers, entertainment lawyers, and music industry disruptors in the Metaverse.

To gain access to the elite squad, one must first be an NFT holder. This step allows each artist to maintain total control over the rights to their music and profits. Frustrated with the music industry’s gatekeeping model,Tommy Dangerused the new opportunity to connect with multiple squad members. West Coast music producerDom_Brady(@dom_brady1) was one of the first to respond. After a few meetings in the Metaverse, the two got down to business and completed three new tracks together.
